Prior to submission for consultation of academically self-initiated clinical studies/research projects/ethics applications (here: studies) by UMMD employees (not for contract research) to our Ethics Committee of the OvGU at the Medical Faculty and Magdeburg University Hospital A.ö.R. (EK), it has proven necessary to increase the quality of the study documents to be submitted (including regulations, content, statistics, required text blocks according to DSGVO) and to clarify contracts, financial aspects as well as points relevant to data protection and information security and specifications for the use of databases/IT systems in advance.
